Goals of the Course [JPN]

少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]

This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

毎回、担当教官が最近の医学関連雑誌や教科書などから適切な教材を準備して、配布します。予習教材が出されることもあります。

Message from the Instructor

名古屋大学医学部の学生には、世界をリードする医師や医学研究者、医療実務者を目指してほしいと思っています。医学においては、新しい情報の多くが英語で入ってきます。それに対処していくためには、できるだけ若いときから医学英語に慣れ親しんでいく必要があります。1年生の前期におけるこの講義が将来のみなさんの目標を叶えるために少しでも役に立つようなら幸いです。私たち4名の教官は3年生の半年にわたる病理学の講義をしていますが、1年生の基礎セミナーではそれにこだわることはなく、いろいろな話題がでてきます。
