Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | This course aims that through the acquisition of knowledge of international relations, students will build a foundation for developing into individuals who can play an active role in international society, combining the ability to develop their own arguments with cultural and social tolerance. The specific topics to be dealt with will be determined according to the specialties and interests of the instructor. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | 次の3点を達成目標とする。
（1）国際法の性質、法源、法主体や国際的な紛争解決の⽅法といった国際法の基本的な構造を理解すること。
（2）国際法が、国際平和、環境保護、人権保障といった国際社会における共通の目的の実現に、どのように貢献しているかを理解すること。
（3）国際法が、国際社会における現実の問題にどのように関連し、その解決にどのように貢献できるかについて、自分で考察し説明することができるようになること。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to
(1) understand the basic structure of international law, especially its nature, source, subjects and dispute settlement systems.
(2) understand how international law can contribute to achieving common goals of the international society such as international peace, environmental conservation, and human rights protection.
(3) analyze and express their own ideas about how international law is related to real world issues and how international law can contribute to their solution. |
