Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | This course is designed for third or fourth year stundents who start an experience in a specified field. The participants will be required to form a mixed team which contains students having defferent backgrounds. And each team will set the problem to tackle and try to solve it by working together. Through this active and cooperative experience, the participants are expected to obtain leadership, a spirit of teamwork, open-mindedness and ability to solve problems collectively. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | めざせソーシャルビジネス 持続可能な「かしもむら」を世界に発信する
岐阜県中津川市加子母（かしも）地区（旧加子母村）は、山に囲まれた山村です。江戸時代には尾張藩の所領となり名古屋城などの木材を供給した森林地帯です。現在では過疎化が進みつつも、林業・製材業・農業など地域の自然に根ざした「持続可能な」産業や暮らしがあります。加子母地区でフィールドワークを繰り返し行い、「持続可能な」産業や暮らしのあり方を探します。さらにそれを世界に発信するために、外国人向け観光の体験プログラムを作ります。その中で地域の課題をビジネスで解決するソーシャルビジネス起業の「ネタ」を探します。参加者は、現場に触れそこで活躍する人たちと交流することで、将来の自分のキャリアパスを「起業」を含めて考えることができます。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | Aiming for Social Business Disseminating sustainable "Kashimomura" to the world
Kashimo District, Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture (formerly Kashiomo Village) is a rural village surrounded by mountains. In the Edo period, it became the domain of the Owari Han and supplied wood for Nagoya Castle and other buildings. Today, despite the ongoing depopulation, there are "sustainable" industries and lifestyles rooted in local nature, such as forestry, lumber, and agriculture. We will conduct repeated fieldwork in the Kashiomo area to find "sustainable" industries and ways of living. Furthermore, in order to disseminate it to the world, we will create a tourism experience program for foreigners. Among them, we will look for "stories" for social business entrepreneurship that solve local issues with business. By touching the field and interacting with the people who are active there, participants can think about their future career path, including "entrepreneurship". |
