Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 私たちが身を置いている「大学」は高等教育制度の中核を成しています。しかし，そもそも大学とは何だろう。大学の在り方や社会的な役割，そして大学教育はどうあるべきなのか，変わりゆく社会に大学はどのように対峙し質を担保するのでしょうか。こうした問いを学問的に考察する営みが高等教育学です。本授業での学びを通じて，学生がより広い視野から大学や高等教育を相対化して眺めるようになることが本授業の目的です。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | University where we belong now is the core of higher education. There are questions to explore its meaning and indication, the significance of its existence, and the role that universities have to fulfill in the society. Universities must deal with the ever-changing society and assure the quality. The study of higher education is a way of pursuing these questions academically. The goal of this course is to enable students to broaden their perspective in university and higher education. |
