Goals of the Course
This tutorial supports the lecture course of Analytical Mechanics II. The purposes of this tutorial are:
To gain a deeper understanding about Analytical Mechanics II.
To cultivate the ability to analyze and solve problems through solving problems assigned in the lecture.
To cultivate discussion skills so as to participate effectively in tutorial discussions among peers and instructor.

Objectives of the Course
The goal of this tutorial is that students acquire the following knowledge and skills.
1. Explain and solve the Lagrangian mechanics of a rigid body
2. Explain and solve the motion in non-inertial frame
3. Analyze equilibrium and small oscillation
4. Use tensor calculus
5. Understand fundamentals of the special relativity
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
Students learn to apply the principles and methods taught in the lecture for analyzing and solving problems under the guidance of the instructor, and to participate actively in class discussions. Students are required to turn in regular assignments through NUCT.

Criteria for "Fail (F)" & "Absent (W)" grades
Class attendance is required. Absentee must give a valid reason. A student will receive an “Absent (W)” grade if she or he is absent from class more than 3 times without valid reason.

Unless the withdrawal is declared, a letter grade will be given based on the assessment during the semester.
