環とは、たし算・ひき算・かけ算という三つの演算をもつ集合です。この講義では、整数環と多項式環を中心に、環の基礎理論と環上の加群への応用を修得することを目的とします。

A ring is by definition a set with summation, subtraction and multiplication. The purpose of this course is to learn the basic theory of rings such as the ring of integers and polynomial rings and
an application to the theory of modules over rings.

環の定義から始め、準同型定理や単項イデアル整域、一意分解整域、環上の加群を理解し、その応用を学びます。

Objectives of the Course

We begin with making the definition of a ring. Then we understand the homomorphism theorem, principal ideal domains, unique factorization domains and modules over rings. After that, we study some applications.

環とその上の加群について、概ね次のような内容を予定している。

環とその準同型
多項式環
イデアルと剰余環
素イデアル，極大イデアル
局所化
一意分解整域，単項イデアル整域，ユークリッド環
ネーター環，アルティン環
環上の加群
単項イデアル整域上の有限生成加群の構造定理
テンソル積，完全系列など（時間的余裕があれば）．

3年生以上対象科目。その他特にありません。
