熱力学および平衡統計力学の発展として、相転移、臨界現象、ゆらぎについて学ぶ。
さらに、非平衡状態の記述法を、輸送現象を例に学ぶ。

Goals of the Course

As an advanced course in statistical physics, students learn phase transitions, critical phenomena, and fluctuations. Also, nonequilibrium phenomena are illustrated by taking transport phenomena as examples.

1. 統計力学の枠組みで相転移がどのように記述されるか理解する。
2. 相転移や臨界現象、ゆらぎの基本的な概念を理解する.
3. 非平衡現象に関する理論の初歩を理解する。

1. To understand how phase transitions are described by statistical mechanics.
2. To understand basic concepts of phase transition, critical phenomena and fluctuations.
3. To understand basic concepts of nonequilibrium phenomena.

4. Kosterlitz-Thouless 転移
5. 厳密解で見る相転移
