To develop students' interest in automobiles and motivate them to study automotive engineering by providing them with practical training in disassembly, assembly, and operation of actual vehicles.

By the end of the course, students should be able to

1. understand the internal structure of a vehicle and explain how the basic vehicle behavior of running, turning, and stopping are achieved.
2. understand the technical areas required for vehicle design.
3. understand the relationship between vehicle design and the basic engineering subjects to be studied in the future.
