The purpose of this course is to introduce the biomolecules and their contributions to life. The basic property of water, nucleic acid, amino acid and protein will be included in the lectures.

Objectives of the Course
The goal of this lecture is to understand the basic properties of biomolecules. How to study and analyze those molecules are also the subjects of the course. We wish students will get basic knowledge for properties of nucleic acids, amino acids and proteins.

Evaluation will be based on in-class participation, quizzes, assignments and examinations. Presence will be marked. Lecture participation will be considered an important element in overall grading.
