Goals of the Course | | | The aim of this course is to help students acquire the evaluation and intervention methods necessary for the practice of senile occupational therapy, and to learn the basic knowledge of occupational therapy for senile disorders and how to respond to each situation (evaluation and intervention). |

Objectives of the Course(JPN) | | この授業では終了時に、以下の知識・能力を身に付けていることを目標とする。
１）老年期障害分野における作業療法士の役割を説明できる。
２）老年期の特性について理解し，心身両面の評価ができる。
３）老年期の対象者に対し、個人の長年における個別的環境，経験，社会的役割を十分認識した上で日常生活活動障害，生活の質，社会的活動障害等に対する複数の視点に立ったアプローチを立案できることを目指す。 |

Objectives of the Course | | At the end of the course, students are expected to:
1. Explain the role of occupational therapists in the field of geriatric disabilities.
2. Understand the characteristics of old age and evaluate both mental and physical.
3. Develop a treatment plan for elderly subjects from the occupational therapy perspectives. |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | レポート（30％）、試験結果（60％）、授業参加状況（質疑応答）（10％）、で評価する。
総点60点以上を合格とする。
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
- Short report (30%)
- Term-end examination (60%)
- Class attendance and attitude in class (10%) |
