This course is designed as a tutorial, through which each student cultivates advanced knowledge of the research topic and works towards the completion of a Master thesis.

Objectives of the Course
By the end of this course, the student is expected to be equipped with advanced knowledge and skills that enable the one to complete a Master Thesis. Also, the submission of the 'mid-term thesis progress report' is compulsory.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
This course is a tutorial. The concrete schedule and content will be decided by identifying each student's needs and assessing her/his progress. The list below indicates major items of activity to be covered by the course. Please note that this list is not exclusive.

1. to identify a research topic and formulate a realistic research plan
2. to identify analytical methods
3. to identify and collect research materials for analysis
4. to give presentations on research progress
5. to receive feedback from the supervisor
6. to complete and submit the 'mid-term thesis progress report'
