Goals of the Course(JPN) | | | 本実習は、途上国での調査および異なる背景を持つ人々とのグループワークの機会を提供する。2023年度は、フィリピンで調査を実施する。学生は本実習に参加することで、現地調査に必要な基礎的技術を習得すること、また、グループワークを通してコミュニケーション能力や問題解決能力を高めることを目指す。 |

授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course | | | This Overseas Fieldwork (OFW) aims to provide students an opportunity to gain experience conducting a research project about a developing country and group work with people who have different backgrounds. In 2023, students will conduct fieldwork in the Philippines. Students will be able to gain fundamental fieldwork skills and enhance their communication skills and problem-solving skills based on group work. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | | A detailed fieldwork schedule will be announced at the Preparatory Seminar for GSID Overseas Fieldwork (OFW). Before going to the field, students are required to have regular group meetings to develop their fieldwork plan. |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | Group report 40%, Group presentation 30%, Participation in group work 30%
Credit is given to C- or C (where applicable) or higher grades for each criterion.
Students have to submit the final fieldwork report by the beginning of January 2024. |
