授業の目的 【日本語】 Goals of the Course(JPN) | | 都市の環境や持続的発展への関心を深め,修得した専門知識をもとに,環境問題など現実の課題に 取り組むための思考力や,新たな分野を創造しようとする志を養うことをセミナー授業の目的とする.物質環境学セミナー2A–Hでは,環境化学や物質化学に関するセミナー,研究指導を通じて,これらの力を身につける.

授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | In this course, students acquire expert knowledge and deepen their interests in urban environment and sustainable urban development. Based on the acquired knowledge, throughout seminars, students will develop thinking skill to tackle real problems such as environmental issues. Students also cultivate their willingness to explore new fields. In the series of Seminar on Materials and Environment 2A–2H, students will acquire these thinking ability and creativity through the seminar and research guidance regarding environmental chemistry and material chemistry.

到達目標 【日本語】 Objectives of the Course(JPN) | | 物質環境学セミナー2A–H は,化学物質に関する研究を行う大学院学生を主対象とする. 到達目標を以下に示す.
(1)化学物質を取り扱う者が備えるべき倫理と安全の確保を理解し,遵守できる. (2)化学物質を取り扱う者に要求される実験等の記録と管理を理解し,実践できる. (3)学術論文等の資料を収集,評価分析して,自身の研究に活用できる. (4)報告書やプレゼンテーション資料を作成し,自身の研究について説明ができる. (5)新たな研究を論理的思考にもとづいて立案し,実行できる (2E–H: Doctor). |

到達目標 【英語】 Objectives of the Course | | The series of Seminars on Materials and Environment 2A–H is designed mainly for graduate students studying chemical substances. The students are expected to be able to:
1. Understand and comply with the ethics and safety assurance that chemical handlers should have. 2. Understand and practice the records and management of experiments required by those who handle chemical substances. 3. Collect, evaluate and analyze scientific articles etc. and use them for one’s own research. 4. Create reports and presentation materials and explain one’s research using these items. 5. Design and execute new research based on logical way of thinking. (2E–H: Doctor) |

授業の内容や構成 Course Content / Plan | | ガイダンス,論文抄読会,ならびに研究報告会で構成する.研究倫理と安全確保の教育ガイダンスは,いずれも受講が義務付けられている.論文抄読会は,持ち回りの学生が精読した学術論文について発表を行い,それにもとづき討論を行う.研究報告会では,発表内容や研究進捗状況をふまえた研究指導を行う.

A set of educational guidance on research ethics and safety assurance is mandatory. In the journal club session, the students who carry around make presentations on scientific articles, and then discussions will be held based on them. In research meetings, instructors will provide research guidance based on the content of the presentation and the research progress.

成績評価の方法と基準 Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | セミナーへの参画 (発表,質疑討論) (60%), 研究レポート (40%).60点以上の者に対して,単位を認定する. | Activities during the seminars (presentation, questions and discussions) (60%), Research reports (40%). Credits will be given to those who score over 60 points. |
