地球環境学専攻が関わる様々な問題に対して、企業や政府・行政機関、NPO、NGO、国際機関などの現場でインターンシップによる研修を通して考え、対処する方法を学ぶ能力を修得することを目的とする。

This course aims at acquirings the ability to think about and cope with various issues in the fields of Earth and Environmental Sciences through an internship at companies, governments , NPOs, NGOs, international organizations, etc.,.

Objectives of the Course
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1) explain various issues in the fields of Earth and Environmental Sciences, and
2) aquire and explain methodologies to solve the issues.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
インラーンシップを実施するにあたり、次の事項に留意すること。
1) 研修先の決定：参加先主催者側の担当者と連絡をとり、研修内容と注意事項について確認する。
2) 受講の認定：指導教員を通じて、系会議等で受講認定の要件に適うかの審議を依頼する。
3) 研修：参加先の研修指導者の指導に基づいて各種研修を実施し、日々の研修結果を研修日誌につける。
4) 研修日誌および口頭発表：報告会で発表を行う。
The internship will be conducted with the following steps:
1) Decision of an organization in which a student will conduct the internship: Stundenbts need to contact to the organization in advance to obtain infromation of internsip work contents and conditions for the internship.
2) Approval of the internship in a course meeting through proposing by student's supervisor.
3) Conducting the internship with keeping a daily record of internship works.
4) Making a report and oral presentation of the internship work to pass the course.

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
研修日誌等および口頭発表により総合的に判断する。インターンシップを通じて得られた知識や経験を論述できることを合格の基準とする。
Grading will be based on student's report and presentation. The ability to discuss the knowledge and experience obtained through the internship is the criteria for acceptance.

研修先における指導者の指導に基づいて実施した各種活動について、日々の研修日誌として記録すること。
Make daily reports of the various trainings conducted under the guidance of the supervisor at the work site.

Notice for Students
「学生教育研究災害傷害保険」及び「学研災付帯賠償責任保険」への加入が前提である.
Students must take the Personal Accident Insurance for Students Pursuing Education and Research("Gakkensai") and the Liability Insurance coupled with "Gakkensai"("Futaibaiseki") for participating in the internship.
