Goals of the Course | | Biomolecules are the main components of biological phenomena, in terms of keeping and transmitting of biological information. To understand the roles of structure, function and expression of biomolecules, students will attain the ability to read papers or textbooks written in English. This class also enhances the ability to comprehensively interpret and review research results from different fields and enhances the ability for oral presentation and discussion on research. |

| The instructors and all the students will explain the literatures related to molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics (original papers, reviews, specialized books, etc.), especially on the technical aspects of genetic engineering and biochemistry, and will discuss with the relation to the research in different fields and the possibility of application taken into consideration.
1. Students will investigate / select literature(s) related to research subjects of their own interests with the instructor in charge.
2. Students carefully read the selected literature(s) and introduce the contents in an easy-to-understand manner.
3. With emphasis on technical aspects, the instructor in charge and all the students will critically discuss the content of the presentation. |
