Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | 【Standardized across all programs】 Study of history is beyond just describing past events. It is true that history has been studied using historical records (mainly historical documents) as materials, and we have tried to clarify the past footprints of mankind and the diversity of the existence of human beings by conducting rigorous criticisms and examinations of historical records. At the same time, it is also one of the most important goals to study history to get into the habit of relativizing the times and the world in which we live and looking objectively through it. In this meaning, study of history is an essential education for us who survive this turbulent modern times. |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | By the end of the course, students will:
1) Acquire a new understanding of how past events continue to shape our present world.
2) Develop critical research skills to locate and analyze information and effectively communicate complex ideas and historical topics.
3) Practice historical analysis, research, and presentation skills through in-class discussions and activities. |
