 | | | 【Standardized across all programs】 This is a lecture on mechanics, which is the most fundamental subject in learning in physics, and is offered to undergraduate students in their first year (excluding students who take Mechanics I). The lecture covers various concepts such as force, work, momentum, angular momentum, energy, and conservation laws, and explains that various phenomena in nature can be understood by the basic laws that take the form of equations of motion. Students will also learn mathematical methods used to theoretically describe dynamics, such as coordinate systems, vectors, vector operations, differential and integral calculus, and differential equations. |
