Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | 【Standardized across all programs】 The field of mathematics that describes and analyzes quantitative changes is analysis, and its central method is calculus. It is an essential research method in natural sciences, but in recent years it has also been widely applied to social sciences. This course is a companion course to Calculus I. Its goal is to provide additional support to students with little or no precalculus knowledge. |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | This course is not an independent course but an additional help for students struggling with Calculus I. Its objective is to provide enough material to students such that they can master the content of Calculus I and be fully equipped for more advanced courses. By attending it, students will better understand the concepts introduced in Calculus I, they will learn additional techniques for solving exercises provided at the Math Tutorial Ia, and they will get more confident about their mathematical ability. |
