Objectives of the Course(JPN) | | Ce cours propose d'apprendre à connaître la notion de romantisme en France au XIXe siècle, en littérature mais également dans les autres formes artistiques, et de réfléchir au sens de ce terme au XIXe siècle et plus largement en France voire en Europe. Ce thème sera l'occasion de s'entraîner à la lecture de textes de longueurs variables et de pratiquer l'écriture académique.
This course will focus on the notion of romanticism in France in the 19th century, in literature but also in other artistic forms. It will be an opportunity to think on the meaning of this word in the 19th century and more broadly. This topic will be a good opportunity to work on reading texts of different lengths and to practice academic writing. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | Le cours sera divisé en deux types de leçons.
Le premier type sera l'étude d'un texte littéraire français lié au romantisme. Il s'agira d'une lecture et d'une analyse détaillée de ce texte, avec une mise en pratique grâce à des exercices de compréhension et de restitution, notamment à l'écrit. Une synthèse sera ensuite créée avec la participation des étudiants.
Le seconde type sera un travail consacré spécifiquement aux exercices universitaires sur le modèle français (réponse argumentée, commentaire composé voire dissertation), en s'appuyant sur les textes étudiés dans les autres séances.
This course will be made of two types of classes.
1) Studying a specific French literary text related to Romanticism. These classes will be focused on a precise analysis of the texte, and there will be a practice of understanding and then explaining what has been understood. A synthesis of the class will be created with the students at the end of each class.
2) Practicing writing and learning how to write French academic texts (commentary, essay, etc.), using the material from the other lessons. |

Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | Ce cours est intégralement enseigné en français. Il nécessite une connaissance de la langue et est destiné aux étudiants de Master et de Doctorat.
This class is taught in French. It requires a good knowledge of the language and is aimed at Master and PhD students. |

Study Load(Self-directed Learning Outside Course Hours) | | Les textes étudiés en cours seront distribués une semaine en avance. Il est obligatoire de les avoir lus et préparés (recherche du vocabulaire, etc.). Des exercices de rédaction peuvent être donnés ponctuellement.
The texts studied in class will be handed out a week prior. It is compulsory to read and prepare them. Writing exercizes may sometimes be demanded. |
