授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | Political Theory (or sometimes political philosophy) is a subfield of political studies. This course examines the foundations of political theory focusing on democratic theory especially; liberal democracy, deliberative democracy, agonistic democracy, sortition or lottery democracy etc.
While theories examined in this course are developed in the Western academic context, it is also possible to apply them to Asian and other developing countries and areas. |

成績評価の方法と基準 Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | Grading between A+ to F is based on the sum of 1) several 'response comments' submitted on TACT during the term (20%) and 2) the final essay (80%). Please see the Student Handbook if students want to know details of grading standards and a pass mark. |
