授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | Data protection and IT security are two topics that play an increasingly important role in social and economic life. Usage of information is now essential to basically all industries. Handling data involves complying with different regulatory landscapes and complex legal issues. However, global data scandals and data breaches repeatedly demonstrate how difficult this task is. This is the starting point of the course, which is intended not only to give students a better understanding of the current legal, technical and practical situation of the usage of data, IT security and data protection. The lecture can be divided into three main parts: an overview on the legal framework of data protection; explanations on legal issues of cyber security; concluding with further considerations on legal matters related to the usage of information. |
