Goals of the Course
The goal of this course is to introduce students to the basic skills necessary to compose persuasive legal arguments. Legal writing is a skill quite different from both day to day writing (of emails, letters, and so forth) and also academic writing (of essays) that students often encounter. It is a skill that legal practitioners need to use and refine on a regular basis.
