The course is mainly intended for students taking Calculus II. Students will have the opportunity to manipulate the various notions introduced during the lectures.

The aim of this course is to deepen the understanding of calculus and to cultivate the ability to apply mathematical knowledge.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
Exercises sheets for the tutorial and will be available on the web site of the course. Supplementary content from Calculus II [G30] will also be discussed. Quizzes reviewing the content of the lecture will also be occasionally conducted.
履修条件
Course Prerequisites
Some notions on functions of one variable, as seen in Calculus I. A basic knowledge of linear algebra will be an asset.

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
The final grade will be determined by homework (70%) and quizzes (30%). For students also taking Calculus II, the midterm and final exam will influence the student's grade (in a positive way).

Criteria for "Fail (F)" & "Absent (W)" grades
Depending if the tutorial sessions are compulsory or elective, the criteria are different. Discuss with the instructor for more information.
