Learn fundamental characteristics of fluid motion, physical laws, and governing equations for ideal fluids. Other fundamentals such as dimensional analysis and experimental techniques will be taught.

To understand the basic of fluid mechanics, particularly incompressible and ideal fluid.

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan

1. basic fluid properties and principle of hydrostatics,
2. momentum equation of ideal fluids and the energy conservation law,
3. momentum law,
4. dimensional analysis and similarity law,
5. experimental techniques for flow measurements.

Exercise lesson follows the lecture class every week. Part of problems are assigned as homework.
