Goals of the Course
Knowledge of vehicle dynamics is essential for researchers and engineers involved in automotive engineering.
In this course, students learn about analysis and control methods for vehicle motion, focusing on the basic behaviors of vehicles, such as running, turning, and stopping.
Through examples of vehicle motion analysis and control system design, students will develop the ability to apply the basic knowledge of kinematics of machines, vibration engineering, and control engineering they have learned so far to the design of actual systems.

By the end of the course, students should be able to

1. explain the principles of basic vehicle behavior, such as running, turning, and stopping, using mathematical models.

Grading will be given by comprehensively considering the results of report submission, mid-term exam, and final exam.
