授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | The purpose of this class is to provide an overview of the history and characteristics of the detective fiction genre by reading detective fiction (and works in closely related genres) by British and American authors as well as notable authors from around the world. We will begin by reading classic works by authors such as Edgar Allan Poe and Arthur Conan Doyle, and then move on to more contemporary works by Jorge Luis Borges and Sara Paretsky, among others.
