授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | The aim of this course is to provide students with the technical skills needed to read and analyze English-language poetry. Further, we will study the individual poems in relation to certain themes, and in some cases historical contexts. Students will gain a sense of the broader history of the Anglo-American poetic tradition. |

到達目標 【日本語】 Objectives of the Course(JPN) | | この授業の学びを通して、英詩を、①音②リズム③形式の観点から分析し、それらを意味に関連づけながら詩が読めるようになる。テクストを緻密に読む力が身につき、アカデミックな問いについて、自分の考えを書いたり口頭で説明したりする機会が得られため、アウトプットの力を磨くことができる。At the end of the course students will be able to analyze the sound, rhythm, and form of a poem in English, and relate these to the poem’s meaning. Students will develop close-reading skills and gain practice in explaining their ideas on academic matters in both written and spoken English. |
