インド哲学の文献を原典で読み解くことで、サンスクリット語の語学力の向上を図るとともに、文献学の方法に親しむ。

This course aims to improve students' proficiency in the Sanskrit language while also introducing them to the methods of Sanskrit philology through the study of primary texts in Indian philosophy.

サンスクリット語の思想文献を読解し、批判的に論じる能力を培う。
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
ニヤーヤ学派の根本典籍である『ニヤーヤ・スートラ』をヴァーツヤーヤナの『バーシュヤ』と合わせて読む。冒頭の序から始め、1.1.8 まで読むことを目標とする。これらによりプラマーナとは何か、どのようなプラマーナがあるかという基本的な理解をまず得ることができるだろう。さらに、知とは何か、知と行動の関係、知の正しさの確定方法といった哲学的な問題について参加者で議論することで、インド哲学の認識論の理解を深めたい。
