The course presents theories of race and interethnic relations with a focus on multicultural societies. Class participants will also become familiar with new trends of immigration and minority policies of the developed countries.

個別発表と授業への参加度（意見・発表・質問）を重視する。参加度と個別発表で評価する。それぞれについてC評定以上を合格要件とする。

Grades will be determined on class participation and an oral or written presentation(s). A minimum grade of C in every category is necessary to receive a passing grade.
