授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | This course will look at interpersonal communication from a comprehensive perspective. Theories of interpersonal skills and relationships will be reviewed, along with their application in everyday interpersonal contexts. We will read and discuss chapters of a highly acclaimed handbook on the matter of interpersonal competence, John O. Greene and Brant R. Burleson's (2008) "Handbook of Communication and Social Interaction Skills." Through our readings, we will learn how cognitive, emotional, and behavioral skills play a crucial role in our effectiveness within interpersonal relationships and daily communication. |
