授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | This seminar provides students with opportunities of presentations on either (1) progress of your own research, (2) a paper of your interest authored by someone else, or (3) textbook chapter. You are requested to present materials in a way the other students in the seminar can understand even if they have not read the materials beforehand. The seminar discusses either textbook chapters from an applied econometrics textbook or empirical papers in the field of labor/development/health economics or related fields. |

到達目標 【日本語】 Objectives of the Course(JPN) | | 1. Students are expected to receive feedbacks on your research, so you can improve your research. 2. Students are expected to give feedbacks to your colleagues' research, so you can help your colleagues to improve their research. 3. Presentation needs practice, so more experiences of presentation help students to become better presenters. 4. First-year master students need to learn basic economic theories and econometrics. Rather than just reading textbooks by yourself, discussing with colleagues helps students to understand study materials more efficiently and deeply. |
