Objectives of the Course
The purpose of the master thesis is to summarize the research conducted to solve the problems identified in the research theme. Throughout this process, the aim is to develop problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
Those who take this course will each cultivate his/her abilities to critically understand and assess forefront chemical studies through one-hour presentations and concomitant one-hour discussions, which are assumed to be made every week. In order to make the presentation and discussion fruitful, they are assumed to carry out eight-hour research every week to promote master thesis research. The graduate student who takes this course is specifically required to summarize the progress and results of his/her master thesis research regarding molecular science-oriented simulation, material computational chemistry, and theory developments, which is to be central in the thesis.
