授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | This course first looks at Japan's Official Development Assistance (ODA) and the role of JICA, Japan's ODA implementing agency. It then explores the activities of development partners such as JICA and international organizations to provide insight into real-world development cooperation.
It then looks at how globalization has expanded the sourcing, processing, and manufacturing worldwide, including in developing countries, to meet the demands of developed country markets. Development agency support for food value chains will also be discussed as an example of supply chains.
Through group discussions and presentations by each of you, you will be able to develop your own ideas on how to develop supply chains that balance environmental concerns and development. |
