授業の目的 【日本語】 Goals of the Course(JPN) | | | | 授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | This course examines the evolving dynamics between work and development in 21st-century Latin America. The goal is for students to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to analyze issues such as informality, labor migration, and the impacts of globalization and new technologies on the world of work. Through lectures and group discussions, students will explore the relationship between the economy, culture and society, assessing strategies for promoting decent work and labor inclusion. This course aims to prepare students to tackle the emerging challenges and opportunities in the world of work, equipping them to become future employers, workers, and researchers in a rapidly changing context. |

| | 成績評価の方法と基準 Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | a) Reading Assignments (20%): Before each session, students must complete a short questionnaire or summary of the assigned readings.
b) Participation in Class Discussions (30%): Each student's contribution to class discussions will be evaluated, taking into account the quality of their interventions.
c) Final Essay (50%): At the end of the course, students must submit an essay addressing one of the topics discussed in class.
To pass each component, students must obtain a grade of C- or higher. The final grade for the course will be based on the weighted average of the three parts. |
