本集中講義では、非特異3次元ファノ多様体の分類について初学者向けに概説する。定義体は標数ゼロであることを仮定するが、可能な限り正標数でも通用する形で説明する。時間が許せば、より詳細な話題についても解説する。

Goals of the Course

In this lecture, we will overview the classification of smooth Fano threefolds for beginners. Although the base field is assumed to be of characteristic zero, the argument will be given in a characteristic-free way as far as possible. If time permits, I will explain more detailed topics.

非特異３次元ファノ多様体の分類について、以下のことを習得することを目標とする。
(1) 分類の全体像を把握する。
(2) 分類に用いられる手法について学ぶ。
(3) 非特異ファノ多様体の具体例を知る。

Some intermiediate goals of this lecture are as follows:
(1) To understand the overview of the classification.
(2) To study the method used in the classification.
(3) To know some concrete smooth Fano threefolds.

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan

(1) 分類の全体像についての概説（１～３回）
(2) 錐定理（１～３回）
(3) ピカール数が１の場合の分類（２～４回）
(4) ピカール数が２以上の場合の分類（１～３回）

(1) Overview of the classification (1-3 lectures)
(2) Cone theorem (1-3 lectures)
(3) The classification for the case when the Picard number is one (2-4 lectures)
(4) The classification for the case when the Picard number is at least two (1-3 lectures)

履修条件
Course Prerequisites

代数幾何の基礎知識（Hartshorneの教科書程度のもの）を仮定する。
