授業の目的 【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN) | | | 公共政策とは、個人の能力を越える問題の解決を社会的な合意に基づいて行う営みである。広く環境問題に関わる公共政策を環境政策と捉えるなら、環境学が環境問題の解決に寄与するには、環境政策との関わりを避けて通れない。本科目では、公共政策の基本的な概念や、日本における環境問題の歴史と環境政策の展開、政策過程における市民の役割と市民参加の方法などを学ぶ。それによって、環境学の知識を環境問題の解決に生かす上で必要となる、政策についての基礎的な理解や思考法を修得することを目的とする。【DP3】 |

授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course | | | Public policy is socially legitimate activities of solving problems that are beyond the capacity of individuals. If environmental policy can be defined as public policy that is concerned with environmental issues in a broad sense, environmental studies are inseparable from environmental policy in their effort to address environmental issues. In this course, students will learn the basic concepts of public policy, the history of environmental problems as well as the development of environmental policy in Japan, the role of citizens in policy processes, and methods of public participation. The aim is to acquire the basic understanding and ways of thinking regarding public policy, which are necessary for applying the expertise of environmental studies to the solution of environmental problems. Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | | ディスカッションへの参加（20%）と各回授業後のリアクションペーパー（40％）、期末レポート（40％）に基づいて、到達目標の達成度合いを評価する。 | | Achievement of the course goal will be evaluated based on participation in discussion (20%), reaction papers after each session (40%), and a term paper (40%). |
