この講座のタイトルは「精緻化」です。 「形式と機能」の一部の側面は AW II から引き継がれますが、このコースの目的は、学生が論文や学位論文で使用できる重要な要素を理解し、それに基づいて構築できるようにすることです。 これらの要素には、論文のステートメント、賛成および目的のステートメント、要約、およびライトレビューが含まれます。 候補者は自分の研究を口頭で弁護することが求められるため、このコースには口頭プレゼンテーションの演習が含まれます。
授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course
The title of this course is “Elaboration.” While some aspects of “form & function” will carry over from AW II, the aim of the course is to have students comprehend and build on the key elements that they may use in their thesis or dissertation. These elements include thesis statements, pro & purpose statements, the abstract as well as lit review. The course will include in exercise on oral presentation as the candidates will be expected to orally defend their work.

Master's students need to have successfully completed AW I. In addition, AW II is strongly recommended.

Study Load(Self-directed Learning Outside Course Hours)
As with AW II, students will have about 10-11 labs with several short writing assignments. This generally requires about 60-90 minutes per week commitment.

Notice for Students
Students who take AW I & AW II will be able to have continued access to the lab but will have to register for AW III. Students who have no taken AWI or II will need to contact the instructor.
