受講者持ち回りの口頭発表と全受講者を交えた討議を実施する．また，個別に研究指導を行う．授業時間外に調査および研究の実施が必要である．

成績評価の方法と基準【日本語】
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
研究成果およびセミナーの発表を基にA+，A，B，C，C-，Fで評価する．この際，研究への取り組みが認められ相応の研究成果が得られていること，および，口頭発表の準備を十分に行い，かつ、積極的に討議を行えていることを合格の基準とする．また，4分の１以上欠席した場合は「欠席」とする．公休の扱いについては，機械システム工学専攻の修士課程中間発表の基準に準ずる．
