Goals of the Course
As part of the Forefront Studies Program, this seminar aims at providing students with opportunities to acquire the ability to conduct and manage several activities in the international specialized programs for civil and environmental engineering. It also aims to exchange with students from different universities.

Students are expected to have taken some lectures offered by the Forefront Studies Program and the Nagoya University Global Environmental Leaders Program (NUGELP)

Course Content
Each student will make a presentation about his/her own research activities. After that, all participants will have a discussion. Through this process, the ability to explain and persuade and the ability to think from various perspectives will be enhanced.

Please prepare your presentation file (PPT-file). Presentation time is 20 to 30 minutes.

>The presentation should include the following: self-introduction, research activities (background,
problem awareness, methodology, progress) and future plans after graduation.

>The backgrounds vary by participants. Please explain your research activities to all participants in a
way they can understand.

>Handouts should be uploaded as a pdf-file to the designated folder of TACT by one day before the
presentation day. The URL of the folder will be informed by email.

>After each presentation, all participants need to attend 30 minutes discussion.

>The chairperson should proceed so that all students actively participate in discussions.
