Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content or Plan | | この授業では、各自で様々な資料を探し、調査し、発表形式でまとめます。発表の数回の課題については、様々な国の人に、それぞれの人が感じる社会課題について、ビデオ（英語）にまとめてもらっています。このビデオをみて、これを出発点として、本やインターネットなどの資料を読み、各自、自分なりの意見を考えてもらいます。最後の課題については、各自に決めていただく予定です。
社会問題に関する調査発表（TA、英語使用）の聴講（オンサイト）
以下に1課題の発表までの流れを示します。

In this class, students will search for and investigate various materials on their own, and then summarize them in the form of a presentation. For several of the presentation topics, we are asking people from various countries to make videos (in English) about the social issues they feel are important. By watching these videos, we hope to provide a starting point for students to think about their own opinions, based on reading materials such as books and the internet. For the final topic, we will ask students to decide for themselves.
Attend a presentation on a survey of a social issue (TA, in English) (on-site)
