Goals of the Course [JPN]
少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

このセミナーでは，「昆虫が持つ能力がどのように社会に応用されているかを探る」というテーマについて，情報を収集し，その成果を発表してもらいます．昆虫の持つ能力が利用されている実体を調査し，関連する情報を収集してまとめ，その成果を発表してディスカッションする力を身につけることを目標とします．

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
In this seminar, we will collect information and present the results on the theme of ``Exploring how the abilities inherent in insects, insect functionality, are applied in society.'' The goal is to acquire the ability to investigate entities that utilize the abilities of insects, collect and summarize related information, and present and discuss the results.

Course Content or Plan
昆虫は地球上で最も繁栄している生物です．この繁栄は，昆虫が環境に適応するためのさまざまな能力を獲得することによって成し遂げられてきたと考えられます．私たち人間は，昆虫の持つさまざまな能力を利用して生活に役立ててきました．このセミナーでは，昆虫の持つ能力が，生物資源として，私たちの生活にどのように活用されているのか，その実体を調査し，関連情報を収集してまとめ，その成果を発表してもらいます．
