Goals of the Course [JPN]
少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

Objectives of the Course [JPN]
昨今の天候や社会情勢により食を巡る環境は大きく変化しています。一方、この変化に対応するため、例えば、フードテックにおける培養肉の研究やフードロスを減らす社会的な取り組みなど、様々な活動が行われています。本講義では、このような食に関する様々なトピックの記載された新聞をきっかけに、今、何が問題なのか、また、その解決のための取り組みを2-3名の班(計５つ程度)に分かれて、自分たちでテーマを決め調査し、発表します。また、各班発表を複数回(2回程度)行い、お互いに質疑することで、プレゼンテーション力を身につけることを目標にします。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
The environment surrounding food is changing dramatically due to recent climate and social conditions. To adapt these changes, various research such as cultured meat in food tech companies and social activities to reduce food loss have received a lot of attention. In this lecture, we will use newspapers that cover various food-related topics to learn about current issues and what efforts are being taken to solve them. Teams of 2-3 people (about 5 in total) will decide on a theme, research it, and present it by themselves. In addition, each group will make presentations multiple times with the aim of improving their presentation skills by asking each other questions.
