Goals of the Course [JPN]
少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

本基礎セミナーでは主にキャンパス内に生育する樹木を対象として、野外での観察・同定方法や、基本的な構造と機能、および周囲環境との関わりなどに関する基礎知識を修得することが目標です。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
In this course, mainly using trees in the Higashiyama campus, students will be able to acquire basic knowledge on the observation and identification method in a field, the fundamental structure and functions, and interaction between trees and surrounding environmental conditions.

　以下の内容について、授業を行う。一部は屋外にて、一部はオンデマンドにて実施する。

履修条件は要さない。
成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
授業への積極的参画（60％）とプレート作成の課題（40％）で評価します。
履修取下げの際は申し出が必要です。申し出がなく課題が未提出の場合、評価は「Ｆ」とします。
