少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

This seminar aims to learn basic techniques for research activities : information collection, logical thinking, and presentation.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content or Plan
基本テーマは「身近なものを科学する」です。身近なところで「なぜ？」「面白い！」と自分が感じたことをテーマに選び、納得できるまで調査していただきます。そしてセミナー時に、調査の成果を発表していただきます。少なくとも２回の発表を行っていただく予定です。選んだテーマについて色々な手段を使って調査・分析して、発表者自身の意見を作成してください。セミナー本番では、他の聴衆を説得できるよう、プレゼンテーションを練り、発表を行ってください。聴衆は、疑問に思うことはどんどん質問し、議論します。科学的な考察、プレゼンテーションスキル、論理的な議論の進め方の獲得が本セミナーの目標です。
The basic theme is "Familiar science". Choose the theme that you feel "why?" or "interesting!". The purpose is not to derive the correct answer, but to discover "interesting", think from various perspectives, and have your own opinion.
