Course Content or Plan | | The aim of this course is to improve students' communication ability mainly in terms of listening and speaking. It will help students develop their basic abilities with respect to daily conversation, discussions, and presentations.

3 Discussion and Short speech 1 on energy conservation strategies.
4 Discuss change and continuation about U.S. Holidays
5 ‘Small Talk’ and workplace conversations
6 Things you have and have not done and changes over time
7 Short Speech 2 on Something You Have Done. Phrases for discussing personal opinions and unpleasant thoughts
8 Describing people’s behavior
9 Short Speech 3 on Behavior. Asking Questions about people
10 Listening to conservations and interviews and describing settings in documentary films
11 Short Speech: 4 Documentary Films. Describing and discussing unacceptable behavior
12 Short Speech: 5. Subject A New Year's Tradition
