Goals of the Course [JPN] | | 専門的学習のツールとして外国語の能力を高め，異文化理解を深めて，国際社会に相応しい教養を育むことが目的です。学会や社会で求められるプレゼンテーションを行えるよう，リーディング・スピーキング・リスニング・ライティングの各能力を高め，また４技能の統合を目指します。

The course aims to help students acquire skills for making effective presentations on various occasions such as academic conferences and business meetings. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | | 自分の考えをその根拠とともにいかに説得力ある論理的な英文に組み立てるかというこれまで英語（基礎）・（中級）で養った知識・技能と、英語（コミュニケーション）で培ったコミュニケーション能力に加え、プレゼンテーションに必要な知識や技能を習得し、学術英語を使いこなす能力を更に発展させる。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | Building on skills acquired in English Basic, Intermediate, and Communication, we will develop knowledge and skills necessary for university study. We will develop and deliver clear and convincing presentations in English. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content or Plan | | Students use English as much as they can during class discussions and in presentations.
We will study techniques for planning and delivering oral presentations.All students will complete homework introducing basic topics, and discuss these topics in more depth during class time. Students are required to use English as much as they can during class, and to contribute actively to discussions.
Each student will prepare, write, and deliver four oral presentations based on topics discussed during the course. Students will listen to presentations from their classmates. They are required to listen attentively and be prepared to ask questions. |

履修取下げの際に申し出を必要としない。５回以上欠席をした場合、「Ｗ」とする。 |
