授業の達成目標 【英語】
Objectives of the Course [ENG]
This course will challenge students to refine the skills they have developed in previous English classes. Students will give two rigorous and sophisticated presentations. The objective of the first presentation is to make a persuasive argument about a contemporary social issue on the basis of evidence, logical reasoning, and critical analysis of published information. For the second presentation, students will design and conduct a small-scale qualitative research project, analyze the original data they obtain, and discuss the implications of their findings. Through frequent interaction with classmates in an active environment, students will also practice discussing sources in depth.
