Goals of the Course [JPN]
学部３・４年生を対象に，英語で内容を学ぶ授業です。提供される内容は，担当教員の専門領域に関係する，言語と文化について理解を深める幅広いトピックを含みます。英語を通じて内容を学びながら，講義，議論，発表などを通して学術英語を使用する実践的な総合力を高めます。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is English-medicated and offered for undergraduate students in their third and fourth years. The content relates to the instructor’s area of expertise and covers various topics that deepen students’ understanding of the language and culture. Students will enhance their abilities in using English for academic purposes through engaging lectures, discussions, and presentations, as well as enhancing their knowledge and understanding of various aspects of the language and culture.

This course is intended to help students develop a deeper understanding of how languages interact and coexist in public spaces, specifically within the context of Nagoya. By engaging in fieldwork, analysis, and research on multilingualism, students will explore the cultural, social, and political implications of linguistic landscapes while improving their academic English skills through discussions, presentations, and written reports.

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
Field Reports: 30%, Participation and Attendance: 20%, Presentations: 25%, Final Report: 25%
履修取下げの際に申し出を必要としない。５回以上欠席をした場合、「Ｗ」とする。
