Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 現在，地球上ではさまざまな領域での社会発展が進む中，世界の国々はいわゆる先進国と途上国に分類されています。国際社会ではこの格差を埋めることが重要となっており，人類が今後どのような開発を国際的に進めていくのかは喫緊の課題です。講義では，それぞれ文化，教育，政治，法律，経済等人文・社会科学等の見地から国際開発がどのような仕組みでなされてきたかを学習し，とりわけ開発途上国で何が問題となっているかを多面的に考察します。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | As various fields in the world today experience social development, nations are categorized into so-called developed and developing states. Closing the gap between developing and developed states has become an important issue facing international society. The way in which the international community should proceed with development moving forward into the future has become an urgent problem. This lecture looks at the structures of international development from the viewpoint of the human and social sciences; especially culture, education, politics, law and economics. It will also examine the various critical issues that particularly face developing countries. |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | Students will learn history, examples, and theories of international development studies, and gain a basic understanding of what is discussed in this field. Students will also develop the ability to structure their own ideas based on actual cases, existing discussions, and theories, through in-class discussions and report writing. |
