Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | 【Standardized across all programs】 If you want to be active in the international community, you have to have a deep understanding of traditional culture of your own country. The goal of this course is for the students to learn how to play Go. Through this the students are expected to deepen understanding of Japanese traditional culture. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content or Plan | | 講義1 ガイダンス 囲碁の歴史 9路盤を使いルール説明
講義2-6 囲碁の活動をパワーポイントで紹介、 9路盤を使いルール説明 団体戦や学生同士で対局
講義7-11 13路盤の打ち方を学ぶ、団体戦や学生同士で対局
講義12 19路盤の打ち方を学ぶ、団体戦や学生同士で対局
講義13-15 希望のサイズの盤を使い学生同士で対局
不定期で課題がでます。
状況により内容や進み方に変更があります。
Lesson 1 Guidance, history of “Go” and its diffusion in Japan. The rules of Go, Individual games with mini board (9x9).
Lesson 2-6 Introduction of Go activities, The rules of Go, team games and Individual games with mini board (9x9).
Lesson 7-11 Learn on a medium-sized (13x13) Go board, team games and Individual games.
Lesson 12 Learn on an official-sized (19x19) Go board, team games and Individual games.
Lesson 13-15 Individual games with favourite size of Go board.
Some quizzes will be held during the lectures irregularly.
The contents may be replaced or changed depending on the situation. |

履修条件・関連する科目
Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | 囲碁を知らない学生を優先とします。囲碁10級以上の学生は参加できません。
No pre-requisites. Students from any background are eligible. The course is not designed for Go players, and suitable for students of wide background. Those who have a Go rank (10kyu or stronger) cannot participate. |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | 学期途中で履修の意思がなくなった場合は履修の取り下げの申し出が必要。
いろいろな学生との対局数(対局カードを利用)60%、囲碁アプリで対局（週一回程度）20%、課題の提出20％
計100％
-Need to request a course withdrawal when students have no intention of finishing a course during the semester.
- Number of games played with various students during the lectures(by result card) 60%
- Play to various people using the Go app "Go Quest" at least once of week. 20%
- Some quizzes will be held during the lectures. 20%

実務経験のある教員等による授業科目（大学等における修学の支援に関する法律施行規則に基づくもの）
Courses taught by Instructors with practical experience | | 本授業科目は、実務経験のある教員(日本棋院所属囲碁棋士)が、その実務経験を活かして行う授業科目である。
The lesson will take a teacher with practical experience (Nihon Ki-in) makes use of her practical experience. |
